JAKE MICKEL

Hi everyone! I'm Jake Mickel, a Chicago based actor, singer, and musician. My passion is to celebrate the crazy adventure of life through the power of music, language, and movement. Starting my artistic career with the trombone in the 5th grade, music has always been a massive part of my life, leading me to fall in love with musical theatre where I can combine my love for music with storytelling. Throw in an early obsession with Frank Sinatra, an unrelenting dream of becoming a Pokemon trainer, and a hand-me-down guitar and you've got the perfect recipe to create the Jake Mickel you see today. When I'm not onstage, you can find me mixing some new craft cocktails, tackling the New York Times mini games, or showing people unsolicited photos of my cats.
